| Where the Seacoast League
Association is a recreational/house league, the Association has
historically re-grouped teams to even out the playing
field during the end of year playoffs. It is brought up at the
beginning of each season and voted on by the S/C League membership to
continue the practice of re-grouping teams to make for a fun and
competitive end of year playoffs for all players/teams. The S/C Executive Board and Team Representatives work together and break the teams into competitive groupings. Groupings are based on season results, goals for and against, and how teams matched up during regular season play. Some teams may play against teams they've played all season, while others may find that they are mixed in with teams that played above or below them during the regular season. Schedules, with dates, times and venues will be posted as soon as they are available, it is anticipated they should be ready the first week of March. Due to the fact that the final games will be held on Easter Sunday, schedulers are making all attempts to schedule the younger players later on in the day so they can enjoy Easter and Church activities. Games will be played at the following venues: Dover, Rochester and Back Bay. Below is the current playoff groupings for Lakes Region Teams.
